#Ego - as a mental construct - cannot exist in the presence of awareness… that is, of awakened consciousness. They are mutually exclusive. ~~~ The ego is not ‘bad.’ It’s not negative. It simply is. However, left unchecked and untamed, as we are presently seeing, it can cause unwanted damage on a collective scale. Ego may be illuminated when we bring it, in all its facets, to the #conscious.🧠 ~~~ #Love & ego cannot exist in the same ‘space’ at the same time, either. I actually think about love as the ABSENCE OF EGO. Love does not brag, it does not boast, it does not envy… love is patient, kind, & enduring… you know the saying. What that poem so eloquently describes is the shattering of ego to accept who we truly are - that is, pure love. 💕 ~~~ Of course, we can never completely eradicate the ego & holding ourselves to such a standard would become emotionally corrosive & spiritually exhausting. Unless we become a #meditating #monk and move to the mountains or live in complete isolation pursuing #spiritualenlightenment full-time - which is not feasible for most of us in our modern society - we mustn’t expect that we will live in complete separation from ego. {{Aligning with the Universe}} ~~~ When we choose love, we are in alignment with the greater creative force that rests within us all. ~~~ The evolutionary impulse of the #universe — of #consciousness — is the inclination to orient oneself to the frequency of #unconditionallove. ~~~ The cosmic agenda IS that of unconditional #love. Throughout the cosmos, the intent is to allow consciousnesses the gift of play inside of various kinds of games with various kinds of rules, conditions, & challenges & at various densities for quite different experiences. ~~~ Viewed from this perspective, life can be viewed as less stern and more play-like. Less rigid and more relaxed. Learn to ride the wave of life & practice inner nonresistance to all experiences presented — they are all opportunities to choose acceptance & love in disguise. ~~~ The Earth game is extremely difficult for this very reason. It is not obvious at all when presented with a roadblock that such an experience is a precisely perfect TEST of your level of consciousness. It’s not easy to withhold judgment, to remain non reactive, to accept, embrace and love in each successive moment. ~~~ Still, This is our task. This is why you are here — to expand, grow and test your individuated ‘slice’ of consciousness. Stay #positive and loving! Continue to uplift all of #humanity with your #kindness and #generosity! Waking up is an endless losing what you think you know, like a wave of destruction that leaves nothing, but what is true. —Unmani ~~~ “#Ego death is most beautiful, precious, illuminating, awe-inspiring, expansive, enlightening and paradigm-shattering experience you could ever go through and for every serious spiritual seeker, it is a pivotal process to go through. ~~~ The ego is basically our sense of self or our #identity. The ego is a biological and #spiritual tool that was created by and defends the belief that, we are all separate “individual” entities. As a result of believing that we are separate and isolated in this life, we suffer immensely. The ego perceives life through the lens of #duality. Duality is the opposite of reality — it is the division of life into opposing forces such as love/hate, good/bad, right/wrong and holy/sinful. When we divide life, we suffer. The result of the dualistic ego is judgment, hatred, condemnation, etc. ~~~ The truth is that the ego can never really “die”; instead, it can be transcended and made #conscious. ~~~ #EgoDeath is the experience of transcending the ego, #self or identity. This experience is the most mind-bending, #awakening, awe-inspiring, peaceful and unconditionally #loving experience you could ever have. Ego death is essentially an experience of embodying your True Nature [AS #consciousness] completely (or returning back to who you really are), temporarily. However, while the experience of ego death is indescribably beautiful, it can also be indescribably horrific for those who are not aware of the spiritual path, and for those who resist the experience. If you are familiar with the #psychonaut community (a collection of people who use #psychedelic substances to access higher states of being), you would have heard of many “ego death” experiences. This is because #shamanic plants such as #ayahuasca, #DMT, and #psilocybin mushrooms are powerful gateways to the #Divine experience. Physicist Garrett Lisi proposed an elegant mathematical structure known as #E8, which also appears in #stringtheory. In a nutshell, Lisi proposed that E8 is the unifying force for all the forces of the #universe. The #E8Theory, also known as "An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything" tries to explain the greatest mystery in #physics — how particle physics and gravity can be combined in one model. First identified in 1887, E8 has 248 dimensions and cannot be seen, or even drawn, in its complete form. ~~~ The enigmatic E8 is the largest and most complicated of the five exceptional Lie groups, and contains four subgroups that are related to the four fundamental forces of nature: the electromagnetic force; the strong force (which binds quarks); the weak force (which controls radioactive decay); and the gravitational force. ~~~ Lisi is not the first physicist to look to the E8 -- an interrelated 248-dimensional symmetrical object -- as the possible key to the #theoryofeverything. But he's come up with a clever method that may overcome the tricky problem of adding gravity to the mix. ~~~ Other physicists have discarded the theory poking holes in its foundation. Using linear algebra and proving theorems to translate the physics into math, Emory University mathematician Skip Garibaldi not only tried to show that the formulas proposed in Lisi's paper do not work, they also demonstrated the flaws in a whole class of related theories. ~~~ What do you think? All realities, including ours, are MENTAL CONSTRUCTS — data streams, to be more specific. There are many different layers of reality or #frequency bands of existence, in fact (we can only perceive of 0.0035% of the entire EM spectrum!) all SUPERIMPOSED on top of one another in the same space! 🌐 ~~~ Another fascinating point is that time & space are actually perceptual illusions — so everything is happening right NOW and RIGHT HERE just at different frequencies of perception! ~~~ Believe it or not, there could be entire (virtual) worlds & beings inhabiting those worlds right next to you, and you would never know it!🌏 ~~~ All realities are emanating from a central point which could be the size of a pinhead, the Source of all being. This point IS “your” consciousness, and believe it or not, you never actually “go” anywhere.
